Redeeming the Time
Ephesians 5:16 speaks of “Redeeming the time,” which means to make the most of your time, use it wisely, and live intentionally because the world is filled with challenges that could distract you. Essentially, “Don’t waste time; use it for good.”
In 2023, we began rethinking and resetting several things in the OMN. In 2024, we solidified changes and adjusted to our new norms.
In many ways, 2024 was when the OMN Executive Team and Presbytery carefully put together the skeleton for a new and leaner look moving forward. One that looks different yet similar, with the same commitment to Developing Effective Leaders and Building Healthy Churches and Ministries while fostering a culture of Honor, Honesty, Candor, and Accountability

New Norms

Two full-time OMN Executive officers instead of three.
Missions Restructure

Leaner & Faster
Learning to function with a leaner team and budget without compromising productivity.
Reduced Debt
Despite the economic challenges of 2024, the Finance Team’s diligence and the Presbytery’s foresight enabled us to retire the debt on the OMN office and stay within budget.
Looking Forward
Cindy and I believe God has inserted us at this time in history for a purpose, and we fully embrace that purpose. We will not let culture, politics, or satan dictate the destiny of the Oregon Ministry Network. Instead, we will lean into God for answers, rely on words of wisdom and discernment, and trust that He has the keys to our unique challenges in Oregon. We are optimistic about the future and believe God has incredible things ahead for the Oregon Ministry Network.
Finally, remember that the Oregon Ministry Network’s strength is that we all work together.
Together is better.

In 2025
Pentecostal
We will continue to emphasize the power and presence of the Holy Spirit in our Network and our ministries.
Minister Care
We will continue our efforts to see our ministers better cared for in every way.
OSOM
We will see the Oregon School of Ministry fully functional by the end of the year.
Unity
We will solidify an inclusive culture that people understand and want to be part of.
Church Multiplication
We will reset plateaued churches. We will ask 15% of our churches to start a church in the next 5 years.
Missions
We will strive for 100% participation by every church and every credentialed minister in missions giving.
